A feeling of old Hong Kong - Sham Shui Po

While it lacks much of modernity that Hong Kong is known for, Sham Shui Po retains the charm of traditional Hong Kong. And for this reason, it is one of our favorite places to wander and explore while in Hong Kong.

Located in Kowloon, Sham Shui Po is a great place to explore how Hong Kong might have felt in the 1970's. It has retained much of the traditional Hong Kong look, feel and taste.

Local, affordable street food is one of the highlights of any visit to Sham Shui Po. Wether you're looking to try traditional street Cantonese snacks or more of a formal fine dining experience, Sham Shui Po can provide you with affordable, delicious food.

Shopping in Sham Shui Po gives you access from cheap, plastic toys to expensive tailored suits. The district still retains many of the traditional clothes wholesalers that allow you to do your best to negotiate for new pair of shoes, or jacket.

It is easy to access Sham Shui Po, like everything in Hong Kong. Give yourself plenty of time to explore all the interesting little streets and roads.
